Our model is based on contributions. 

To see if submissions are legit we have to figure out if the person posting is trustworthy. We do this based on how established the person is on social media (hence login with Twitter and LinkedIn) or based on historical contribution they made. We pull this information from the social media accounts as well if you reach out there.

We also use Google Analytics to optimize your experience and make sure we become super popular so more people contribute and we all get better information

We don’t share this information with anybody and obviously excluded from our downloadable exports.

That said we do have to run this site somewhere and use some services (AWS, fly.io) in the infra so they could have access to your data. Their usual data processing guidelines would apply here. 

People helping out with the site, e.g. triaging submissions migh get access your data, we ask them to be as careful as we are.

We will delete data related to anybody who had not used the site/API for over 2 years.
